Good to know

This is a beautiful home located next to the Mississippi River. Because of our location keep in mind there are critters, snakes and bugs. We spray for insects on a regular basis.

Other Details to Note

Please keep in mind, the house is on a small hill. If there is inclement weather, it may be a challenge driving up on the drive way. Nauvoo has very few options for internet. We have purchased the largest plan possible for this area.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the castle! There were so many extras, like a giant Connect 4 Game, Foosball table, tons of extra pillows, towels, pertowels that divide in quarters (which my kids thought were so cool, haha), a guitar, piano, and even black silverware that seemed fitting for a vacation in a castle. It has 2 giant kitchens that are fully stalked with blenders, pans, dishes, all the things you need. There were 3 oversized living rooms, large TVs, movies, games, video games, etc. which made it so easy to relax and enjoy our time as a family and with grandma. It was like 6 minutes away from Nauvoo, and the temple, and was so convenient for all of our activities, and then getting to come "home" to a home-away-from-home, and eat, laugh, rest, and play, and then head back and do more fun activities downtown Nauvoo again. The view was amazing! The look and ambiance was amazing for photos and having a memorable holiday that will be etched in our memory for a very long time!

We had a wonderful stay at the Chalet! The home was beautiful and had plenty of space for our family of seven. It had everything that you would need! It was also very close to Nauvoo so extremely convenient. I would highly recommend this home!

Fun place to stay. Beautiful view off the balcony. Definitely went for the castle field, which was a lot of fun. Fireflies just down the driveway. Saw a couple of cardinals. Right next to the Mississippi river. Very convenient to Nauvoo
